Bases of Emergency Care
Main topics related to Emergency Medicine, with emphasis on the pathophysiology and initial care of critically ill children in the emergency room.
Respiratory Emergencies
Approach to acute and chronic respiratory failure and major topics regarding emergency airway management; includes practice of techniques on dummies.
Clinical Emergencies and Procedures
Major clinical emergencies, with emphasis on diagnosis, pathophysiology and initial care.
● Accidents and Basic Life Support - BLS
Know and train the attendance of the most common accidents in childhood and adolescence. The BLS dand develops skills to care for and maintain life in situations of respiratory and / or cardiac arrest.
Infectious Emergencies
Deepen the pathophysiological knowledge and the basis of treatment in septic shock.
Advanced Course in Pediatric Emergency – CAEP (in Portuguese)
Theoretical-practical training. It turns to qualify the care of children and adolescents in emergency situations.
Serious Pediatric Patient Support - SPPG
Theoretical-practical training. It addresses major pediatric emergencies, transport of critically ill patients, critical neurological and respiratory conditions, seizures, intubation, and postoperative.
